Collaboration with the Elena Barraquer Foundation 2024

In 2024, Invest for children has collaborated with the Elena Barraquer Foundation in their valuable work in the fight against avoidable blindness caused by cataracts in developing countries.

In just six years, the Elena Barraquer Foundation has achieved an impressive milestone by performing nearly 7,000 cataract surgeries during the 19 surgical expeditions carried out in 2023. As collaborators, we feel proud to have contributed financially to make this important humanitarian work possible.

Our donation has served to finance the necessary medical equipment and facilitate the execution of these operations in communities where quality ophthalmic care is scarce or inaccessible. Additionally, we have witnessed the direct impact of our contributions on the lives of over 50,000 people, both directly and indirectly, through the #NoMoreCataracts movement.

The commitment and dedication of over 184 volunteers, who have selflessly collaborated in these surgical missions, are a testament to the transformative power of solidarity and collaboration. We are deeply grateful for their generosity and willingness to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
