Aura Foundation at the UN Headquarters in 2018

Aura Foundation has participated at the World Down Syndrome Day Conference for being pioneer in the use of the Supported Employment Methodology in Europe.
The World Down Syndrome Day Conference is held every year at the headquarters of the United Nations, and the subject for 2018 has been “What I bring to the workplace?”
This Conference brought together people with Down syndrome, employers, experts in work placement inclusion of people with learning difficulties and Governmental workers and UN workers. Its main objective this year has been to show the benefits that people with intellectual disabilities make their own contributions at their workplace.
