Collaboration with the Genuine World Cup 2024

Invest for children has been one of the sponsors of the Genuine World Cup.

It took place in Houston, on August 1st to 3rd, 2024, being an unprecedented sports and social event. This tournament, which champions inclusion and the belief that sports are for everyone, brought together 12 teams of individuals with intellectual disabilities from the United States, Mexico, Spain, and Portugal. What started as a dream in the small city of Tarragona, Spain—where they  competed in a professional soccer league—has now become a reality that unites the world.

They dreamed of something big, imagining boys and girls from around the globe sharing our passion for football. Houston has allowed this dream to take flight, with group stages held at Holloway Fields and the final played at NRG Shell Stadium, home of Houston Dynamo FC. The event was more than a competition; it was a celebration of diversity and unity, where athletes from different cultures connected through their shared love of the game.

The Genuine World Cup not only showcased the remarkable talents of these athletes but also sent a powerful message about the importance of creating opportunities for everyone to shine.
