Research program at Uppsala University

The project on the development of new sensitive biomarks for early diagnosis and a better classification of neuroendocrine tumours is well established and running accord to plan. The first patients with NETs have been included in a unique clinical trial with an Oncolytic virus that is only killing the tumour cells and respect normal cells. The results so far look very promising. We expect to get specimens from 35 patients.
